सौराष्ट्रे सोमनाथं च
Saurāṣṭre Somanāthaṃ Cha
In Saurashtra, Somanatha; and
श्रीशैले मल्लिकार्जुनम् ।
Śrīśaile Mallikārjunam
in Shrishaila, Mallikarjuna;
उज्जयिन्यां महाकालम्
Ujjayinyāṃ Mahākālam
in Ujjain, Mahakala;
ओङ्कारममलेश्वरम् ॥१॥

Omkara, Amaleshwara. (1)
परल्यां वैद्यनाथं च
Paralyāṃ Vaidyanāthaṃ Cha
In Paralya, Vaidyanatha; and
डाकिन्यां भीमशङ्करम् ।
Ḍākinyāṃ Bhīmaśaṅkaram
in Dakini, Bhimashankara;
सेतुबन्धे तु रामेशं
Setubandhe Tu Rāmeśaṃ
at Setubandha, Rameshwara;
नागेशं दारुकावने ॥२॥

वाराणस्यां तु विश्वेशं
Vārāṇasyāṃ Tu Viśveśaṃ

त्र्यम्बकं गौतमीतटे ।
Tryambakaṃ Gautamī-taṭe
Tryambaka on the bank of the Gautami;
हिमालये तु केदारं
Himālaye Tu Kedāraṃ
in the Himalaya, Kedara;
घुश्मेशं च शिवालये ॥३॥
Ghuśmeśaṃ Cha Śivālaye
and Ghushmesha at Shivalaya. (3)
एतानि ज्योतिर्लिङ्गानि
Etāni Jyotirliṅgāni
These twelve Jyotirlingas,
सायं प्रातः पठेन्नरः ।
Sāyaṃ Prātaḥ Paṭhennaraḥ
whoever recites them morning and evening,
सप्तजन्मकृतं पापं
Sapta-janma-kṛtaṃ Pāpaṃ
the sin committed over seven births,
स्मरणेन विनश्यति ॥
