जय-जय मंगल मोर कृपा करो गुरु देव । संकट सब हर हरो करि मंगल सदा सेव ॥
jaya-jaya maṃgala mora kṛpā karo guru deva | saṃkaṭa saba hara haro kari maṃgala sadā seva ||
Victory, victory to Mangal! Grant me Your grace, O divine Guru. Remove all my troubles, and let me forever serve You, making everything auspicious.

जय मंगल ग्रह मुनि पूजित शुभ फल दायक नाथ । धातु रुधिर अधिदेव तम शरणागत करे त्राण ॥
jaya maṃgala graha muni pūjita śubha phala dāyaka nātha | dhātu rudhira adhideva tama śaraṇāgata kare trāṇa ||
Victory to Mangal Graha, worshipped by sages, O Lord who bestows auspicious fruit. Presiding deity of metal and blood, You grant protection to those who take refuge in You.
रक्तवर्ण तन सुंदर मस्तक मुकुट विराजत । गदाहस्त त्रिनयन मनोहर मंगल शुभफलदायक ॥
raktavarṇa tana suṃdara mastaka mukuṭa virājata | gadāhasta trinayana manohara maṃgala śubhaphaladāyaka ||
Your body is red-hued and lovely, a crown adorning Your head. Mace in hand, three-eyed and captivating, O Mangal, You bestow auspicious fruit.
अमित तेज बल मोह नाशक पिंगल तन अति शोभित । धरणी पुत्र अति वैभवशाली पाप-ताप सब हर्ता ॥
amita teja bala moha nāśaka piṃgala tana ati śobhita | dharaṇī putra ati vaibhavaśālī pāpa-tāpa saba hartā ||
Boundless is Your radiance and strength, destroyer of delusion, Your tawny form shines with great splendour. Son of the Earth, immensely glorious, You remove all sin and sorrow.
अस्त्र शस्त्र गदा धारण कर रजत सिंह पर सवार । सप्त धातु का हो प्रदाता वैद्य विद्या सुधाकर ॥
astra śastra gadā dhāraṇa kara rajata siṃha para savāra | sapta dhātu kā ho pradātā vaidya vidyā sudhākara ||
Bearing weapons and a mace, You ride upon a silver lion. You bestow the seven vital elements of the body, a moon that nourishes the science of medicine.
न्यायप्रिय धर्मरत भूतिहारी मंद गति से विख्यात । कुंडली दोष अशुभ प्रभाव जीवन में सब हरता ॥
nyāyapriya dharmarata bhūtihārī maṃda gati se vikhyāta | kuṃḍalī doṣa aśubha prabhāva jīvana meṃ saba haratā ||
Lover of justice and devoted to dharma, remover of misfortune, renowned for Your measured pace. You remove every inauspicious effect of Mangal dosha in the birth chart, throughout life.
राजस्थान पूजित शिरोमणि गुरु ग्रह का आभासक । भक्त जनों का संकट हरते तुम शुभ मंगलकारी ॥
rājasthāna pūjita śiromaṇi guru graha kā ābhāsaka | bhakta janoṃ kā saṃkaṭa harate tuma śubha maṃgalakārī ||
Worshipped as the crest-jewel of royal abodes, You shine like Guru Graha. You remove the troubles of Your devotees, O bringer of auspiciousness.
बुद्धिवर्धक ज्ञानदायक धर्म-अर्थ-काम प्रदायक । तृण-ताप विपदा हरो करि सुखदायक मंगल ॥
buddhivardhaka jñānadāyaka dharma-artha-kāma pradāyaka | tṛṇa-tāpa vipadā haro kari sukhadāyaka maṃgala ||
Increaser of intellect, giver of knowledge, bestower of dharma, artha and kama. Remove our afflictions and calamities, O Mangal, giver of joy.
महाबली वीर विक्रम तापत्रय हरो अपार । मंगल ग्रह की कृपा से सकल मंगल हो साधन ॥
mahābalī vīra vikrama tāpatraya haro apāra | maṃgala graha kī kṛpā se sakala maṃgala ho sādhana ||
Greatly powerful, valiant and heroic, remove our boundless threefold afflictions. By the grace of Mangal Graha, may all our endeavours turn auspicious.
रोग-क्लेश पीड़ा हरो विद्या-बुद्धि बढ़ाओ । शत्रु समस्त भय हरो मंगल मूर्ति विराजो ॥
roga-kleśa pīḍa़ā haro vidyā-buddhi baḍha़āo | śatru samasta bhaya haro maṃgala mūrti virājo ||
Remove disease, affliction and pain; increase our knowledge and intellect. Remove all fear of enemies; O Mangal, let Your form ever abide with us.
रूद्र रूप धर दानव दलन आप विनाशक दुष्ट । शत्रु नाश भय निवारण मंगल भव भय हर्ता ॥
rūdra rūpa dhara dānava dalana āpa vināśaka duṣṭa | śatru nāśa bhaya nivāraṇa maṃgala bhava bhaya hartā ||
Taking the form of Rudra, crusher of demons, You are the destroyer of the wicked. Destroyer of enemies, remover of fear, O Mangal, You dispel the fear of worldly existence.
धीर वीर मंगल रूप संकट में संगी । मंगलग्रह की कृपा से सब मनोरथ पूर हो ॥
dhīra vīra maṃgala rūpa saṃkaṭa meṃ saṃgī | maṃgalagraha kī kṛpā se saba manoratha pūra ho ||
Steadfast and brave in Your form as Mangal, You are our companion in times of trouble. By the grace of Mangal Graha, may all our wishes be fulfilled.
शिव के चरणों में शीश नवायें सुर मुनिजन वन्दित । मंगल ग्रह कृपा करें भक्त जीवन सफल हो ॥
śiva ke caraṇoṃ meṃ śīśa navāyeṃ sura munijana vandita | maṃgala graha kṛpā kareṃ bhakta jīvana saphala ho ||
You bow Your head at the feet of Shiva, revered by gods and sages. May Mangal Graha grant grace, that the devotee's life may be fulfilled.
विघ्न विपत्ति संकट हरो शुभ मंगल करि । मंगल चालीसा जो पढ़े सब संकट से मुक्त हो ॥
vighna vipatti saṃkaṭa haro śubha maṃgala kari | maṃgala cālīsā jo paḍha़e saba saṃkaṭa se mukta ho ||
Remove obstacles, calamities and troubles, making all auspicious. Whoever recites this Mangal Chalisa shall be freed from every trouble.
