शुभं करोति कल्याणमारोग्यं धनसंपदा ।
Śubhaṁ Karoti Kalyāṇamārogyaṁ Dhanasaṁpadā
The lamp brings auspiciousness, well-being, health and abundance of wealth,
शत्रुबुद्धिविनाशाय दीपज्योतिर्नमोऽस्तुते ॥
Śatrubuddhivināśāya Dīpajyotirnamo'stute
and destroys inimical intellect: salutations be to you, O light of the lamp.
